I somehow feel that boy should meet the girl alone at some public place without any formal way. They should have a heart to heart chat and both of them have equal right to say NO also. Only once both agree then parents should meet, though they may have fixed up their meeting in first place. Present system of boy coming to girl's house with his relatives apart from parents for a DEKHO somehow is demeaning for the girl. Navigated to suggested post and had a quick scan, will visit that again to read fully.
